This beer is relatively basic but has been a reference product in terms of widely-consumed Belgian beers for years. It pours a clear gold colour topped by a rich and dense head in cream colour. The beer challenges the nose with malty and relatively fruity aromas with hints reminiscent of spices such as cloves.

Belgoo Magus contains four grains i.e. barley malt, wheat malt, oats, and the German wheat (Triticum spelta). In the first place, it is a white coloured beer. Its colour comes from the wheat. There is more than one fermentation in the bottle. This means that an extra dose of yeast is added before bottling and that the beer will continue to evolve over time !
