St Idesbald blond 6.2°-1/3L

With its low volume of alcohol of 6%, this is one of the weakest abbey beers. What emerges is a beer with relatively little dimension. Its taste is really very soft against a fruity background. It reveals very little depth in character, and does not develop at all in the mouth. Only a slight bitterness makes up for the thinness of the aftertaste. Aroma is peppery with pineapple. Appearance is cloudy darker than gold blonde. Fairly large head that didn't last with some lacing. Sweet pineapple flavours that quickly give way to hop bitterness. Fairly thin though medium carbonation which works well.
