Pater Lieven tripel is a light-amber beer. The head is in the middle between white and off-white. A spicy bitterness dominates the nose, although floral notes also appear in the scent. From slightly sweet malt and alcohol accents, the taste evolves into an intense bitterness. A long finish leaves a lasting pleasant impression.
Pater Lieven tripel is a high fermentation beer of 8% abv that is fermented in the bottle.
Pours a slightly hazy bronze colour with a solid creamy white head which leaves a beautiful lacing; tons of yeast sediments at the bottom of the bottle; big nose of peach with notes of bread, a creamy mouthfeel, low carbonation and a soft mouthfeel; long aftertaste of fruits (apricot, peach) and some residual sweetness - a good quality beer
