Kapittel Prior 9°, delivered worldwide and produced by Leroy Breweries, is a dark brown high-fermentation ale with secondary fermentation in the bottle. It is considered the cream of the crop among the dark abbey beers because of its full flavour. When sampling it, you immediately notice the mild flavour of roasted malt, followed by complex notes of raisins, caramel and the fruity note of herbs.

Het Kapittel Watou Prior 9°
Dark brown in color. Plentiful, thick, long lasting head. Fruity, malty with a roasted, smooth taste. Poured a dark beer with a huge head with super great retention. Aroma is comprised of a mix of spices and roastiness. The mix of spices and roastiness is also very present in the taste and very enjoyable and is also accompanied by strong hops. Body is quite strong with good carbonation. The alcohol is extremely subtle which is a plus when you have a 9% beer. Overall, this is another great beer from a very underrated brewery.
