Piraat Special Reserve (Rum Barrel Aged) is brewed at Van Steenberge brewery. Brewed in honor of the original seafarers of the 19th century, Piraat Ale seemed destined to be aged in Rum barrels. The Belgian classic and perennial gold medal winner is aged in barrels for the first time since it’s inception. At 10.5% ABV the beer has a large malt profile which produces flavors of country bread and dried fruits. Belgoo Bio Amber, produced by Strubbe brewery, is an ornanic Belgian amber beer brewed with a unique combination of 3 different grains - barley, wheat and spelt. Brewed on a base of spelled and wheat, the Bioloo presents in the glass a dress of a rather light amber and a hat of creamy white foam and persistent. From it come complex aromas evoking both caramel and malts, yeast and its phenolic and spicy appearance as well as hops and fruity scents. This complex together is brought to the nostrils by a relatively fine effervescence.
