Easier to descend than to climb, such is "La Redoutable", a beer in honor of the famous Redoute coast, in Remouchamps, the one that the runners from Liège-Bastogne-Liège take. A 9% beer, like the altitude difference of the mythical coast.
La Redoutable Tripel is brewed by La Binchoise brewery, and is delivered worldwide.
Clear yellow color, full sized white head. Aroma is malts, lightly yeast, a hint of hay and it even has a whiff of a weizen. Taste wheat, lightly malts, again somwehat yeasty although it’s not bothering me much, it actually suits the flavor somehow. Bopdy is decent, texture is kind of smooth, lightly oily, carbonation is soft to average which suits the beer. In the end it’s actually quite nice, better than the aroma suggested.
