Pours dark brown to black with a thick frothy tan head. Aroma is very spicy and malty with caramel sweetness, dried fruits, also some chocolaty notes, bready. Taste is rich malt that grows more caramel-y as it moves through a medium carbonated swallow, then dark chocolate on the way to a finish that has only a hint of hops. Big and malty, but not heavy in the belly. The alcohol is not strong. A really memorable full-bodied Belgian Strong.
