LUTTI cuberdons 500g - The cuberdon is a Belgian candy (or sweet) made of sugar and stuffed with syrup. It is generally conical (sometimes in the form of a nose), reddish-pink or purplish, for a size of about 2.5 cm. The outside is hard, while inside is a gelatinous liquid with a very sweet taste. It is made of a sweet fruit paste worked with gum arabic and flavored with fruit extracts, the outside being hard while the inside retains a certain viscosity.

This Trappist beer, brewed at the Sint-Sixtus Abbey is delivered worldwide.It pours very dark brown with big off-white head. Settles as 3 cm thick blanker of fluffy foam. Substantial lacing. Aroma is a little subdued due to the massive amount of foam. But it gets stronger as the beer warms up. Aroma is sweetish with caramel, sugar, lightly roasted malts, humid cellar and damp old newspapers. Medium carbonation. Medium thick texture. Flavor is (only) medium sweet. Followed by a quite strong bitterness with an acidic hint. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Always hard to form an opinion on such a celebrity beer.

The Gueuze from Cantillon brewery is the fruit of a complex mixture of these lambics of different tastes and ages.
Stored in oak barrels, the Lambics of Cantillon Brewery are called "young" after one year of aging and reach full maturity after three years. Young beers contain the natural sugars required for the second fermentation in the bottle. The three-year-old beers bring their bouquet and finesse.

Cantillon Cuvée Saint-Gilloise 5° is brewed at the famous Cantillon brewery and is delivered worldwide. Two-year-old lambic that is dry-hopped and bottled with a small amount of sugar liquor to begin refermentation in the bottle.
Murky golden orange pour with a white head. Aroma is really bright and tart, funky, zesty. Taste is tart and sweet up front, huge flavour, a bit oaky, earthy, super complex with a dry finish.

The Achel is the latest of trappist beers brewed in the monastery of St Benedict Notre-Dame in Belgian city of Achel (in the province of Limburg).
The existing beers of Achel are the result of the hard work of brother Thomas (brewer of Westmalle) and brother Antony (ancient brewer of Rochefort). As you can see, the Achel beers are big beers but still a bit unknown. This beer must be tasted as fast as possible!
The brown malty taste with a light aroma of roasting reveals a vanilla flavour.

The Geuze Mariage Parfait (8 % alc) is a merge of soft lambic beer (95 %) with at least 3 years of age and young lambic beer (5 %). This young lambic provides viable yeast and fermentable sugars. The two beers are mixed in a container of 25,000 litres, after which it is clarified and kept cool. During bottling, the lambic gets back its fermentation temperature and undergoes a fermentation before maturing at a low temperature for at least six months. In order to know the bottling date of the Geuze Mariage Parfait, you have to deduct 20 years from the expiration date.

The Oude Geuze (7 % alc.) consists of soft lambic aged 18 months (90 %), a character beer aged 3 years (5 %) and very young lambic beer (5 %) which provides fermentable sugars and viable yeast. This mix is made in a cooled tank of 25,000 litres. The Oude Geuze ripes in oak barrels. Before bottling, the geuze is given back its fermentation temperature in order to undergo a second fermentation. After bottling in an air conditioned room, the ripening of several months takes off to develop its delicate flavour. In order to know the bottling date of the beer you have to deduct 20 years from the expiration date.

Prouced by Bouillon brewery, this beer pours a dark mahogany with a abundant cream colored head. Head shrinks but stays throughout the entire drink. 
Malty burnt sugar. A little yeast hidden behind the sweet aroma. Very good. 

Bons Secours Myrtille, delivered worldwide, is produced by Caulier brewery. This unique beer (7 % alc.), that is the result of a maceration of blueberry juice, developed a rather dark red colour, a compact foam and is slightly reddish. In the mouth, it is a dry beer, but contains very little sugar, however the taste of blueberry is very pronounced.

Our recipe remains unchanged from the beginning and we are transparent about the ingredients that compose our beers. Water, malted barley, sugar, hops, spices and yeast. Sugar is necessary for the creation of carbon dioxide during the second fermentation. Chimay Gold is a beer fermented in the bottle that contains yeast.

Helleketelbier 7°, from De Bie brewery, and delivered worldwide, is a lovely amber coloured beer of 7% with an exceptional flavour.

Dulle Teve 10°c , from De Dolle Brouwers brewery, is delivered worldwide. De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.
 

Triple d'Anvers 8°, brewed by Brouwerij De Koninck (Duvel-Moortgat), and delivered worldwide,  is a top-fermented Belgian beer . In the glass it shows an amber colour tending towards blonde, capped with an attractive white head. From this white crown, the nose picks up aromas of yeast and hops with fruity notes of apples and of lightly toasted malt. The initial impression on the palate is slightly sugary with a good balance between the bitterness of the hops and a fruity freshness.

The Bush Prestige is a Bush Amber that, rather than maturing in stainless steel tanks, has spent six months finishing in oak barrels.
During the bottling process, small amounts of sugar and yeast are added to the beer so it re-ferments in the bottle during its stay in the brewery’s warm room. This develops the natural yeast cloud and gives the beer its exceptionally high alcohol volume of 13%.
Reviving the traditional use of oak barrels has introduced aromas and tannins that haven’t been experienced in beer for many years. Even the most demanding beer lover will be bowled over by these qualities. Think of the aromas of whisky and other spirits matured on oak coupled with an extraordinarily rounded character.

Hoegaarden Rosée 4,5°is delivered worldwide. The story of the jam jars gave us an idea. Hoegaarden Rosée. It might be pink but it is very much a wheat beer. It also features the soft taste and subtle colour of raspberries. And while it doesn’t feature a higher alcohol percentage, it does mean you can enjoy it even more in the sun.

Floreffe Double 7° by Brasserie Lefebvre is a rich, robust Belgian beer with an attractive mahogany body and a generous tawny head. The aftertaste is long and deliciously sweet.

This particular Hommage has macerated for 5.5 months on a 2,000 litre oak foeder and with 280 kilos of sour cherries and 837 kilos of organic raspberries. The final fruit intensity is 372 grams of fruit per litre of Hommage. 100% 3 Fonteinen. 3 Fonteinen Hommage is the result of macerating hand-picked whole sour cherries and raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion of 760 to 800 grams of raspberries and 200 to 240 grams of sour cherries per litre of lambic.
