There are many beers with different characters, whether due to their flavour, level of alcohol, region of production, colour, etc. One might think that the belong to no category. In reality, there are all placed in a category know as " Belgian Specials" , a bit of a catch-all, but distinguished by the fact that these beers are found only in Belgium.
Brewed at Deca brewery, and delivered worldwide, De Poes Blond 8° is a Belgian blond beer (8 °) of high fermentation with a second fermentation in bottle. Brewed with barley, wheat, oats and corn, two kinds of Belgian hops and spices.
The hops that were used for this beer give the beer a slightly bitter but also fruity aftertaste.

Produced at the Verhaeghe brewery, Barbe Rouge is one of four Barbe beers. The name "Barbe" refers to its brewery in the Belgian city of Liège called "Barbe d’Or". The Barbe d’Or Brewery was a medieval brewery in the old town of Liege (Belgium) and belonged to the de Romsée family. Today, the logo on the beer bottles is the coat of arms of that particular family.
