Cantillon is the brewer of Belgium’s most authentic lambic. This kriek 100% lambic is blended lambic beer brewed with cherries.
Pours a deep, bright ruby red color and capped by a very thin light pink head of foam that slowly settles to a thin film and leaves patches of lace around the glass. The aroma shows notes of sour dark cherries, earthy must, farmhouse yeast, barnyard funk, some lemon acidity, and notes of old, wet wood that lends a touch of oaky vanilla to balance out tartness and acidity. Fantastic beer and awesome fruited lambic.

During the cooking process, coriander and sour orange peel have been added. This addition gives the beer its slightly spicy aroma. Despite a soft and creamy flavour, this beer contains a lot of freshness.
This beer is unique because of its aromatic complexity and its average alcohol percentage.

For the creation of the Gulden Draak Smoked, we go back to the ancient tradition of malt drying: smoking malt. This resulted in a smoked touch of the malt which you afterwards also could find in the beer. This typical smoky taste was lost over the years because the malt drying techniques were made considerably more efficient.

The use of smoked malt in combination with the specialty of Brewery Van Steenberge has a spectacular result: a heavy quality beer of high fermentation with a secondary fermentation in the bottle, baptized as Gulden Draak Smoked. The smoked malt in the recipe gives the beer a velvety soft roasted taste.

To produce its Kriek, the Boon brewery uses its ancestral recipe. Kriek Boon is a mixture of young and old lambic, matured in oak barrels. After six months of waiting, fresh cherries are added. After clarification and filtration, the beer is finally bottled, after which it is sold.
This Belgian beer has a beautiful ruby colour covered by a pretty coloured foam. The uncompromising nose, powerfully evokes the cherry. On the palate, this same cherry flavour takes over the rest, magnified by a slight acidity. The aftertaste is bitter end even brings a little more complexity to the beer. A Kriek like no other.

Blanche Des Honnelles was brewed for the first time in 1991 at a very local level, but has since then crossed the shores of the river from whom it got its name. It has an amber colour which is, after all, the traditional colour from the old days. It has an alcohol percentage of 6 %, which is more than the average white beer.
