The Famous Duchesse de Bourgogne 6.2 ("Duchess of Burgundy") is produced by Verhaeghe brewery and delivered worldwide. "Duchesse de Bourgogne " is a mixed fermentation beer. It is a fruity sweet beer with a pleasant fresh taste. "Duchesse de Bourgogne" is brewed with deeply roasted malts and bitter hops. After the main fermentation and secondary fermentation, the "Duchesse de Bougogne" matures for several months in tapered tanks. The tannins in the oak wood give the "Duchess of Burgundy" its fruity character. The "Duchesse de Bourgogne" has a full, sweet and fresh taste: a ruby red jewel of 6.2% alcohol volume which is preferably used in a chalice-shaped glass between 8 and 12 ° C.

Bourgogne des Flandres, which is produced in the legendary Timmermans brewery benefits from very old and unique brewing technique called "lambic infusion ". Originally called IJzerenband (Iron Band) – a reference to the iron bands around the beer barrels – the bottle gained its champagne cork when it was renamed Liefmans Goudenband (Gold Band). Made in open vats with beer of mixed fermentation, it is left to mature for four to 12 months in the cellar. Mature beer is then fortified with younger beer, so the fermentation process starts up again.

Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and Goudenband from different vintages, and can consist of between 15 and 20 different batches of beers.
The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour.
Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a deep reddish-brown colour, with a pale head and wood and almond notes. On the palette, you can clearly taste the slightly sweet, yet at the same time gently bitter fruit flavours. This is a beer that just oozes class…
