The beer has a dark majestic ruby colour and has a rich and refined taste. It develops a powerful aroma of sweet overtones. The first taste in the mouth is a bit fruity and the aftertaste is creamy and very prolonged. It is a beer that is profound and extremely mature.

Cantillon Rosé de Gambrinus 5° - Blend of lambics and raspberries - 200 g of raspberries per litre of beer. Beer with a slightly acidic, fruity and fragrant taste. Just like kriek, the “fruitiness” of Rosé de Gambrinus is at its best when the beer is young. With age the lambic will take the upper hand, but this is at the expense of the fruit component.

Murky golden orange pour with a white head. Aroma is really bright and tart, funky, zesty. Taste is tart and sweet up front, huge flavour, a bit oaky, earthy, super complex with a dry finish.

The Gueuze from Cantillon brewery is the fruit of a complex mixture of these lambics of different tastes and ages.
Stored in oak barrels, the Lambics of Cantillon Brewery are called "young" after one year of aging and reach full maturity after three years. Young beers contain the natural sugars required for the second fermentation in the bottle. The three-year-old beers bring their bouquet and finesse.

This Trappist beer, brewed at the Sint-Sixtus Abbey is delivered worldwide.It pours very dark brown with big off-white head. Settles as 3 cm thick blanker of fluffy foam. Substantial lacing. Aroma is sweetish with caramel, sugar, lightly roasted malts, humid cellar and damp old newspapers. Medium carbonation. Medium thick texture. Flavor is (only) medium sweet. Followed by a quite strong bitterness with an acidic hint. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Always hard to form an opinion on such a celebrity beer.

In the complex world of handcrafted “gueuzes”. Drie Fonteinen probably is the brewery of which a lot beer lovers are jealous of. The oude gueuze consists of a Lambic composition that matured between one and three years in oak barrels.
In the glass, this Belgian beer with an orange colour and fine foam has a very specific taste that holds the middle between apple and lemon.
Like most handcrafted gueuzes, it is possible to let them mature even longer in order to diminish the acidity and to enjoy its fruity aromes to the fullest extent.
