Rodenbach Rosso 4° - 1/4L

Rodenbach Rosso is a refreshing fruit beer based on the unique Rodenbach beers aged in oak barrels, partly macerated with full red fruits. It pours deep red with a small pink head. The nose is sweet, jammy, full of red berry, wood and light tang in the background. The taste is crisp, tangy, raspberry, cherry, jam, light tartness, candied fruit and sherbet with a dry finish. Mid to light body. Watery palate; Mouth feel is Rodenbach Grand Cru being infused with nice red fruits - very malty with notable grains, still very yoghurt and rich-winey and cider apples without too much vinegar. Fruits are mostly dark cherries, sour cherries, fairly light raspberries, and they compliment the Grand Cru pretty well. Good!...
