

Brewed by De Cam Geuzestekerij. One of the higher rated Belgian gueuzes - a very strong beer thats good lots of sourness, though not overpowering.
Pours a brownish amber hue, richly hazed with frothy whitish head atop, stays as a firm film, laces well. Aromas are richly sour, lactic lemon, a touch of bile, oak, yogurt. Some bready malts. Initial is richly sour, big lactic lemon, yogurt, grapefruit and orange appeal. Crab apple, lemons, and rich oak. Good house brett, oak, and mellow bready malts. Some straw, some grass, dryness. Big lactic sour presence. Middle is a touch sweeter but still richly sour, lemons and lactic acid. Big citrus, sourness, gentle oak makes it’s way through. Backend is tart, dry, and lactic. Some oak, firm tartness, gentle bready malts. Well blended if a bit intense Lactic element. Solid.
