A top-fermenting golden strong beer of 7.6% ABV, that is very firm-bodied, fruity-dry and assertive. It has a fine hop-aroma (dry-hopping is used) and a splendid apertif bitterness in palate and finish. The initial impression is that the Triple, which is brewed alongside the Double, seems to have less character than the latter. Its ingredients ( pale malt and hops) appear however more limpid in the mouth. It can be drunk cool or at a moderate temperature depending upon individual preferences.
