Beer is sweet in a liqueurish way, medium-dry. Slight peachy, sourish taste, nothing to do with carbonation. Sourish-prickly sensation, no alcohol-burn. Soft basis. No new aftertaste, finish a bit empty (maize...). Witkap tipel has a break between the nose and the taste/finish. It gets mellow and lighter after the beginning. Great tripel! Big yeasty nose, hazy pale khaki color, and a foamy, sticky head. Sweet orange and corriander tastes with a brief hop finish. Sugary at times in the middle. Full body, complex and spicy.
