This beer is one the hardest genuine Trappist beers to find!
Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a thick biege head. Aroma is a bit sweet with fruit and caramel. Really nice full and chewy mouthfeel. Raisins, brown sugar, dark fruits, alcohol, and caramel are right upfront. Nice lingering aftertaste. There's a lot to sink your teeth into, so to speak. A really complex beer that wants you to ask for more.

This was a treat! I had wanted to experience this beer for some time. It was packed very well so everything arrived intact. The tracking provided allowed me to follow the shipping process which was nice. Thanks for providing a great customer service. - Dan

I ordered two bottles in late March and I still have not received them. Shipping products from Belgium to Washington, DC, USA should not take so long. Plus, the shipping service that this shop uses (BPOST) will only let you file a claim or contact them if you have a Belgian Bank account number. I tried to contact this belgianshop directly and they have not responded in weeks. Very displeased. This was a gift for a dear friend, and one week from today, he won't even be living in D.C. anymore. I have no faith that it will arrive. Even if it got to him all this time later, it was not worth how much I spent.
