Report abuseDefinitely different and worthy of import
I was hearing about Picon from several friends, and bummed to not find it available in the USA. Belgian Shop sorted that out for me, and I've been able to taste compare it with other "similar" apertifs, and I must say that the unique orange flavor is something I've not been able to find equal to without more overstated bitterness. Angostura bitters come to mind... This isn't that. Picon is sweet, dark, slightly charred. It stands on its own in a sea of orange flavored liquers. I will be ordering again.
