- Out-of-Stock

Hanssens Oude Kriek 6°is the result of blending black cherries lambic of different ages followed by a second fermentation in the bottle. Storage is similar like geuze. All bottles are champagne corked and can be reserved, in normal conditions, for more than thirty years. It is obvious that an amazing taste evolution takes place.
Pours pinkish, small white ring head. Aroma is acid, vinegary, sour cherry. Taste is sour, like really sour. Acid, cherry, and lots of vinegar. Massive vinegar in aftertaste. Medium bodied, low carbo. Dry mouthfeel. Typical Hanssens, so acid and vinegary and still balanced and makes me smile. Well done real old school kriek without any sweetness.
