Old Quetsche Tilquin is made from the fermentation of a minimum of 250gr of plums by liter of lambic.
Unfiltered and unpasteurized, this beer is refermented in the bottle.
Pours hazy dark orange with a minimal white head. Very subtle aroma of ripe plums, quite complex yet very enjoyable. The taste begins tart and moves into sour notes nuanced by vinegar and fruit skin like tannins. It then heads into a dry finish thinly ringed around the edges by a light sense of some sort of vague fruitiness.Medium body, very smooth.
Wow, one of the best fruit lambics
