Floris Chocolate, brewed by Huyghe brewery, is a beer that has the particularity of being flavored with chocolate. If this is surprising, it is only the combination of two Belgian specialties, and better chocolate than french fries! There are also many flavored beers with chocolate such as Young's Double Chocolate Stout. The Floris Chocolat presents in the glass a brown dress surmounted by a collar of light brown foam. Once out of the bottle, it brings to the nose aromas of chocolate accompanied by vanilla spikes. In the mouth, chocolate dominates the appetizer before vanilla, coriander and wheat appear. This chocolate Floris develops no bitterness which should delight sweet mouths.
Colour and sight: Chestnut brown colour, light brown head.
Scent: Hints of vanilla and of course chocolate.
Flavour: The predominant taste is chocolate and vanilla. Especially the fondant taste is very present on the palate. In the aftertaste the chocolate makes place for coriander and the curaçao that was used in the wheat beer.
