De la Senne Jambe de Bois 8° is brewed by Brussels brewery Brasserie de la Senne is an authentic Belgian Tripel brewed as an homage to the Belgian revolution of 1830. With all the power and drama of those turbulent times, this big, fruity blonde is packed with classic bready malts and vibrant white-pepper and banana yeast.
Pours cloudy yellow, with a ring of froth. Smells beautiful: lemon, wheat, Belgo yeastiness. Taste is beautifully dry; packed with lemon, which squelches; pockets of pin-prick sweetness. Beautiful mouthfeel. A delightful beer. Really tremendous.
