Spencer Trappist Holiday Ale 9° -1/3L
Deep-amber colour, almost copper, mildly hazy with a warm yellowish-beige head, slowly going down leaving tiny patches of lacing. Beautiful holiday spices in the nose over warming alcohol, Belgian Ale yeast and hints of bananas, dark fruits. The taste also shows mostly the same with the wheat-banana notes and very light dark fruits. The mouthfeel is also warming. The spices do not stand out as much, as they well-blended with the malts. A nice winter warmer for this first big snow of the season.
