A very dark brown coloured beer with a purple hue and no real head. Good amounts of sediment left in the bottle. The aroma is roasted malt and a little dark chocolate; quite reminiscent of some stouts. The taste has some good roasted malts and a smoky character. Tasty and interesting.
A complex beer that is a bit hard to categorize.
