De Struise's majestic Imperial Stout Barrel-aged in Lagavulin whisky casks. With Imperial Russian Stouts barrel-aged in whisky casks sourced from across Scotland, it seems only right for De Struise to offer one aged in an Islay single malt cask.
Black Damnation XXIII Hollow is aged in Lagavulin casks, a scotch whisky prized for its iodine tinged, peaty, smoky character produced by one of Scotland's most respected distillers.
The barrel-aging also lends a delicious oaky character to the rich, silky-smooth black malts, and classic liquorice and mocha of this sumptuous Imperial Stout, taking the tasting to a lingering bitter finish.
