Gypsy Rose 9° is from Sainte-Hélène brewery. Tasting beer, its appearance misleads us. Its very fine Alsatian hops give it a delicate, fruity and floral bouquet. The roundness that gives it the malt makes it very soft and masks its high alcohol content that warms the throat without disturbing the senses. It is noble, subtle and intoxicating, so be careful with caution.

Hazy amber color with a smallish, lacy head. Extremely fruity, toffee-sweet and slightly salty aroma with candyish hints. Fruity, sweet and coriander-spicy flavor with lots of yeast and some warming - although well-hidden - alcohol. Salty licorice in the finish. Quite full-bodied, slicky-sweet palate with medium carbonation. A quite enjoyable Belgian strong, although pretty sweet for my taste. A bit stingy-spicy, flowery and alcoholic aroma. Very fruity flavor with berries, coriander-spiciness and hints of licorice. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium-bodied, smooth-carbonated palate.
