Pours clear, dark brown. Big white head. First heavy dry bitterness from roasted malts (reminding of a black coffee in the morning or the dust the stoneworkers to whom this is dedicated had to swallow), than those malts combined with hopsbitterness, than more hopsbitterness, than a little fruitiness which makes it remind of a black IPA. Finally light sweetness to end as a simple ale for bingedrinking. Or my tastebuds were top or confused. Nicely balanced.
