It has been a family favourite for many years when we lived in Belgian and now that we live in Canada we are proud to remember our Belgian roots and wonderful Alexir.
I ordered two bottles in late March and I still have not received them. Shipping products from Belgium to Washington, DC, USA should not take so long. Plus, the shipping service that this shop uses (BPOST) will only let you file a claim or contact them if you have a Belgian Bank account number. I tried to contact this belgianshop directly and they have not responded in weeks. Very displeased. This was a gift for a dear friend, and one week from today, he won't even be living in D.C. anymore. I have no faith that it will arrive. Even if it got to him all this time later, it was not worth how much I spent.
I love the concept of the tribute the Belgians are showing to the soldiers that sacrificed for them. Their show of appreciation is so honorable. Good job. Richard Jean

This wafer is fantastic!! We used to buy this wafer over 50 years ago. I only found this product from Belgian Shop last year and I'm so pleased that they sell these wonderful wafers and ship to the United States!!
Wonderful piece of WWII history that lives again in the story and the commemorative Helmet Mug and Bottle of Airborne Beer. The two pieces have a fitting spot on display on my personal bar.

I purchased these to try out while cycling and they are wonderful. They are also nice for a light breakfast. I will definitely buy again.
