Made with 30% raspberries from the Payottenland, and 5% sour cherries. In commemoration of the late Gaston Debelder, founder of the 3 Fonteinen blendings.
Pours a cloudy pinkish-red color with a medium frothy pinkish-white head that dissipates gradually. Aromas of strong fruit, raspberries, cherries, almost jammy, some barnyard notes, leather, marzipan, intense funk. Taste is very dry and medium to high sour with notes of cherries, almonds, lemon, raspberries and apple skin. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Pleasantly lively on the palate. This is fantastic beer!
