Beautiful clear reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Pleasant aroma of malts, caramel, brown kandij sugar and mild Christmas spices. Relatively light bodied for its strength and style. Taste is caramel, Belgian ale yeast (more pronounced), mellow dark fruits and sweet marzipan-like hints in the back. Some bitter burnt sugar tones in the finish, which provides a certain balance to the whole affair. Medium to full body, moderate to high carbonation. Fine brew.
