The new masterpiece from the Val-Dieu brewery. A very complex and full-bodied beer with a long aftertaste. The brewmaster advices to cellar the beer for a year for it to unfold its full potential.
Dark brown-purple colour with off white head. Aroma is malty, sweet, wine, spicy, yeast and dried fruits. A bit of alcohol on the nose. Soft carbonation and medium oily body. Taste is a complex mix of sweet and bitter, well balanced. A warm feel in the finish from the alcohol. An EXCELLENT beer.
